The Nutcracker (Pähklipureja)

Two orphans, Petter and Lotta, live together with their aunts Brown, Green and Lavender. This is their first Christmas together when the children can themselves go to the woods and bring a Christmas tree and then later decorate it.

The Christmas preparations are in full swing. The children do not understand much of the mysterious bustle as they have never celebrated Christmas before. The guest arrive and the Christmas goat arrives with presents…Lotta gets nutcrackers shaped like a Christmas goat and Petter gets a hobby horse.

When the guests have left, it is time for the children to go to bed, but only then do the really mysterious things start to happen…
The premiere on November 26, 2004 at the Vanemuine Grand Building.
