Education
Valentina Kremen graduated from Aino Kõiv’s class at Heino Eller Tartu Music School in 1982 and has participated in the master classes of Taru Valjakka, Eva Märtson, Alexandr Kapustinsky and Lino Puglisi.

Stage career
She has been a choir soloist at the Vanemuine since 1981, and an opera soloist at the theatre since 2004. She has taken part in performances of such major works as Honegger’s Joan of Arc at the Stake and Verdi’s Requiem and given many solo concerts.

Her roles at the Vanemuine have included:
Kristi and Sauna-Ann in Tubin’s The Parson of Reigi (Reigi õpetaja) (2014); Imbi in Aints’ Old Barny (Rehepapp) (2013); Larina in Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin (2013); Anna, Maria’s maid in Donizetti’s Maria Stuarda (2011); Dulcinea in Massenet’s Don Quijote; Ulrica in Verdi’s A Masqued Ball; Mrs Ford in Verdi’s Falstaff; Constance in Ravel’s The Spanish Hour; Marthe in Gounoud’s Faust; Italian woman in Menotti’s Consul; Mother in Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel; Tereza in Bellini’s La Sonnambula; Manya in Kálmán’s Countess Mariza; The Third Lady in Mozart’s The Magic Flute; Grandmother in Kapp’s Winter Fairy Tale; Flora in Verdi’s La traviata (2004); Suzuki in Puccini’s Madame Butterfly (2004); Antonia’s Mother in Offenbach’s The Tales of Hoffmann (2007); Maddalena in Verdi’s Rigoletto (2007); Azucena in Verdi’s Troubadour (2008); Rosette in Massenet’s Manon (2009); Marcellina in Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro (2010); Juno in Offenbach’s Orpheus in the Underworld (2010); Praskowia in Lehár’s The Merry Widow (2011); Miss Corry in Disney & Cameron Mackintosh’s Mary Poppins (2011)
