The goal of the Vanemuine Theater is to be the upholder of Estonian culture as well as a trendsetter combining thus traditional and contemporary theater.
We are announcing an audition for the Vanemuine Symphony Orchestra’s position
ASSOCIATE PRINCIPAL PERCUSSION / WITH TIMPANI DUTIES
We offer:
- full-time job with salary 1690 euros (gross) monthly;
- 56 days of paid holidays annually;

The contest takes place in two rounds. To participate in the 1st round, we expect:
- your CV together with an overview of your creative activities
Candidates reaching the 2nd round are invited to an audition where we expect you to perform:
- orchestral excerpts

Please send your CV by May 6th, 2024 to address konkurss@vanemuine.ee with the title „percussion“. The chosen candidates are sent an invitation by e-mail on May 8th, 2024 with detailed information about the audition . The 2nd round takes place on May 28th, 2024 at Vanemuine Theatre, Tartu, Estonia.
Starting time of employment is as soon as possible.

ORCHESTRA’S CONCERTMASTER
We offer:
- full-time job;
- 56 days paid holidays annually;
- opportunity to work with a very diverse repertoire;
- professional self-development prospects.
The audition takes place in two rounds. To participate in the 1st round, we expect:
- your CV together with an overview of your creative activities;
- video recording of your performance of a freely chosen piece.
Candidates reaching the 2nd round are invited to an audition where we expect you to perform:
- Freely chosen Tšaikovski, Sibelius or Brahms romantic concerto 1st movement with cadenza
- Freely chosen Mozart concerto 1st movement with cadenza
