Vanemuine Symphony Orchestra’s fresh concert series “Classics” presents to the audience Erkki-Sven Tüür’s piece “Incantation of Tempest”, which has also lent its title to this concert evening. Einojuhani Rautavaara’s immediate and colorful percussion concerto “Incantations” will be performed with percussionist Heigo Rosin as the soloist. The concert also features Igor Stravinsky’s “Petrushka” which has taken to theatre stages as a ballet, although the composer initially envisioned it as a concert piece.
The concerts take place in collaboration with Eesti Kontsert.
