Tickets are sold in the box offices of the Vanemuine, from the sales outlets of Piletilevi and Piletimaailm all over Estonia. Tickets may be booked in the box offices of the Vanemuine and by telephone +3727440165 (Mon-Sat, 10am-7pm) and by e-mail at tickets@vanemuine.ee or kassa@vanemuine.ee

Booked tickets have to be bought with a month. Tickets are not refunded or exchanged. For children under 3 it is possible to buy lap tickets. The box offices of the Vanemuine accept both cash and the most common payment and credit cards. The theatre has the right to make changes in the programme.

The personalised subtitle system

The personalised subtitle system has been set up in the Grand and Small buildings of the Vanemuine Theatre. The system has been developed for non-estonian speaking audience and people with hearing disabilities or decreased hearing.

The subtitles are displayed not only on display above the stage, but on the smart device held by the audience member (either their own smartphone or one of the theatre’s tablets, which are available from programme sales points for deposit 25 euros). To view the subtitles on your device, download the Sophokles app from the App Store or Google Play. Once in the theatre, please switch your phone onto silent mode to not disturb others with incoming calls/texts. Choose Wi-Fi connection VanemuineSUB. If Sophokles is downloaded, the app itself directs the user to the subtitles they require. The subtitles are displayed as light-coloured text against a dark background and following them should not affect other members of the audience. In case you need assistance, do not hesitate to contact our ushers.

Discounts
For students, people with ISIC and ITIC-cards and retired persons the discount rate is up to 20% and only in case of advance sales. Discounts apply only to the performances of the Vanemuine and do not apply one hour before the performance and to premieres, in case of special projects or children’s performances.

The 18 o’clock ticket
One hour before the commencement of the performances of the Vanemuine all students have the possibility to buy a ticket for 8 € if an ISIC card, student card or NPNK Student Card or ESNcard is submitted. This advantage applies only in the tickets offices of the Vanemuine and for the performances given by the Vanemuine if there are vacancies.

Gift vouchers for two seats 10 € and 15 €
The Vanemuine gift voucher is for one performance and for two seats. If the value of the tickets chosen by the owner of the gift voucher is lower than the value of the voucher, the difference in amounts is not returned. If the cost of the ticket exceeds the value of the voucher, it is possible to pay the rest in cash. It is not possible to exchange the gift voucher for money. The gift voucher must be used during one year.

Information for disabled persons
We ask the theatre-goers with special needs (wheelchair, resuscitators, etc.) to contact the head administrator of the Vanemuine at least on the work day before the performance by telephone +3727440117.
