Graduated from Tallinn Conservatory in 1988 under Teo Maiste.

Stage career
Jaan Willem Sibul has been a soloist at the Vanemuine since 1992 and taken part in many drama performances, as well as in the ballet performance A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
