![]() The actual Maria was sent to educate just one not seven children and the eldest of the captain's children was a boy not a girl, also the names of children were changed (one of the girl was also named Maria). The Von Trapps, after getting married, spent some years in Austria and then escaped to Italy not Switzerland. Beautiful music and scenery and good acting has made the story of this family full of beauty and excitement for many generations.
In Estonia "The Sound of Music" is brought on stage for the third time already, for the Vanemuine stage this production is the first.
