The play is set in a paradise amidst the clouds where amidst such characters as leading actors Kaarel and Ants, the legendary comedian Paul, famous theatre professor Volli, famous actresses Erna and Liina the more theatre-conscious viewer may recognise important people from the past of Estonian theatre.
Intrigue springs up in this paradise in the clouds when a message about the 100th anniversary of the Estonian theatre reaches Heaven. HowHow can this remarkable day be properly celebrated? As expected, the opinions of all these grand old men/women do not coincide at all in this matter. Whether to stage The Werewolf, Kremlin Chimes or some kind of musical?
