![]() Every Estonian takes Oskar Luts personally...but Oskar Luts it is. The characters of his Spring come again – young, new and everlasting.
"In order to make the production more original, I have to be able to be absolutely, in fact, outrageously free. I have to give up the imagery used by Oskar Luts and thereby I have to create my own aesthetic world ruled by my own idea of beauty and harmony. Every artist, regardless of the genre, wants to depict the human being’s inner world and its diversity as deeply as possible. I attempt to convey the overall atmosphere of the production and its aestheticism through Arno’s world by using the language of dreams, allegory, signs and symbols." Director Ruslan Stepanov
