![]() In every scene a young woman and man meet. They have quite different jobs and lifestyles: one works for a successful company, the other suffers from a deadly illness, the third is a student of psychology working in a warehouse. Still, all the characters are united by a sad look on relationships – they all are crushed by life’s difficulty, exhausted by the everyday worries and suffer from loneliness depression. Yet we understand that the underlying reason for endlessly rushing into new relationships is the wish to feel the real thing – if only for a moment, if only to deceive oneself.
For Ingomar Vihmar, who also staged Ravenhill’s break-through play Shopping & Fucking, the present production is already the third contact with Ravenhill’s work.
The premiere on 29 February 2008 in the Harbour Theatre. Production gallery: |
