Märt Jakobson graduated from the Estonian Academy of Music in the singing class of Mati Palm and Raimond Alango in 1998.
In 1999-2000 he studied as a fellow of the Estonian National Culture Foundation at the Maria Theatre in St Petersburg.
In 2006-2007 he studied for his Master’s degree at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre under Professor Ryhänen.
