"In this story there is a stubborn boy who greatly resembles Peer Gynt. He stands strongly on his two feet, but also has the ability to fly; he is pure, but at the same time he is spoilt. His curiosity and his attraction to taking risks make him go on accepting new challenges. After returning home from his long wanderings he finds the answers to his questions about his real self. He is alone at the threshold to the eve of his life…But no, on the threshold there is Solveig, eternally waiting for him."
Director Mare Tommingas

Solveig: Sleep thou, dearest boy of mine!
I will cradle thee, I will watch thee –
The boy has been sitting on his mother's lap.
The two have been playing all the live-day long.

Henrik Ibsen’s dramatic play has over times asked the audience the following question: what makes a human being always pursue something more than actually needed for being happy?

The premiere on 27 October 2006 in the Grand Building of the Vanemuine.
