Harold Kent and Paul Riggs are successful TV crime writers. After working together for many years Harold wants to break up the partnership with Paul who loves to drink. Riggs is not enchanted by the idea and tries to force his partner to keep on working with him at all costs. The tools chosen for the fight are related to their profession. Edward Taylor is a well-known author of TV series and a director who since 1955 has worked for the BBC for 36 years. Similarly to the character in his play Murder By Misadventure – Harold Kent – he decided to jump off the TV carousel and write something else as well. Murder By Misadventure is his second attempt as a freelance writer.

The premiere on 21 September 2007 in the Small Building of the Vanemuine.
