Morten Viks is a first class student. He likes cheese burgers and bugs. Wasps, cockroaches, grasshoppers and ladybirds. Morten collects them and keeps in his pencil-box. Morten's father is a captain who sails far away oceans and is seldom at home. One day father gives his son a schooner called Salamander and that is how it all starts - Morten starts imagining that the bugs in his pencil-box are actually sailors, captains and helmsmen on Salamander. Bugs are an odd set of creatures; they collect garbage from the sea and turn it into cheese burgers. It is on this schooner, sea jacked by bugs, where Morten finds himself in many adventures. The colourful production at Vanemuine is somewhat loose interpretation of Kaspas Jancis's book and includes some modern day topics. The relations between Morten and the bugs lead to unexpected and valuable discoveries...
Premiere on February 10, 2012 at the Vanemuine Small Building.
