![]() The musical’s activity takes place in a Latin-American prison. The homosexual Luis Alberto Molina is serving time for the third year for the abuse of a juvenile. He lives in a fantasy world in order to escape from the prison life, tortures, fear and humiliation. His imagination is mostly fed by movies and stars that he has seen, primarily the vamp woman Aurora. Specifically one role of that woman fascinates and terrifies him in particular: a spider woman who kills with a kiss. One day a new prisoner is brought into the cell: Valentin Arregui Paz, a Marxist revolutionary. Gradually these two completely different men become close. Finally they share secrets that would interest even the prison management. There cannot be a happy ending to that story for the spider woman waits only for the moment of the deadly kiss…
The musical is based on the Manuel Puig novel "El Beso de la Mujer Araña". In Estonian with English subtitles.
Premiere on October 31, 2009 at the Vanemuine Grand Building. Tickets online: Video:Production gallery: |
