![]() Faith healer Frank has been given the power to cure people, give them faith, hope and love. Unfortunately this power doesn’t exhibit itself every day. The disappointment of bad days and broken hopes of miraculous healing touch the sickly as well as the healer and his close-ones. How to cure the healer himself? This is a play about memories, fulfilled and unfulfilled dreams, optimism against all frustration.
Priit Pedajas has already had several connections with Friel’s creation, for the Vanemuine it is only the first. Chamberlike evenings at Tammistu give the opportunity to enjoy two different casts of actors.
Premiere on June 12, 2009 at Tammistu Barn-Concert Hall, Tartu County. Production gallery: |
