The play of a British writer takes us back to 1946 Berlin, where an American mayor as an investigator of Nazi crimes accuses a world-renown composer Wilhelm Furtwängler in collaborationism. It is historically proven that Furtwängler helped many Jews to escape the Hitler regime, however the investigator cannot fully be in peace with the fact that at the time when hundreds of thousands of people suffered under the inhuman cruelty of Hitler, the talented composer just cut himself away from the surrounding life and only lived for music. The tense psychological duel brings out plenty to think about.
Premiere on December 3, 2011 at the Vanemuine Small Building.
