I as a director am interested in the psychics and logic of such a strong and free individual as Carmen. How deeply are we able to understand the psychology behind an individual through literature and how clearly perceive it from an actor on the stage? How deeply can a man understand and describe a woman he has never even talked to and can only judge by her actions and behaviour? The performance "Carrrmen!" is combined by an individual's atmosphere, the abstraction of the heroine of Merimeé's "Carmen". The plot is left in the background, as the spotlight turns on the personifier of the heroine and the world of emotions she presents. There lives a unique world with its own logic and rules on the stage, created by music and connections one makes.
