The big, scary wolf wants to be a good father and arouse in his son a real fear in the forest, a bogy that fears nobody or nothing. It is not an easy task because vain kids and bigheaded piglets, not to speak of an interesting girl with a red hat, disturb his activity. In the middle of the absurd adventures the son does not wish to become like the dad – a glutton. He wants to live and let others enjoy life and finally he falls in love with Little Red Riding Hood.

"Big, Scary Wolf is an ideal children’s play. In addition to the theatrical playing with the myth of the wolf and the use of fairy tale plots that is comprehensible for little children, the play includes parts that bring a smile to the faces of the grown-ups in the theatre as well as the child."
Kristiina Vaarik, Sakala daily newspaper

"If there is one play that is a play for the whole family, then Big, Scary Wolf in the Vanemuine is one such play. Katja Krohn’s play (she herself calls it a remix) gives the basis and presupposition, and Taago Tubin’s multi-level production determines its format."
Andres Keil, Postimees daily newspaper

The premier on 4 February 2005 in the Small Building of the Vanemuine.
