A young intellectual has discovered his wife’s infidelity. It is a classical love triangle in which a man, his wife and the wife’s lover go on a trip together to a mysterious island, in the middle of sea and forest. Soon, the triangle turns into a rectangle.
The short story built on the veiled inner monologue of the protagonist filled with the existential doubts of an adolescent, his fatal and mystical main tone, all of this has interested Estonian theatre and film people before as well. The beginning of 2006 brought its film version; the second half will bring a theatrical interpretation in which last year’s graduates of the Higher Theatre School make their debuts in the Vanemuine.

The Premiere on 5 September 2006 in the Harbour Theatre.
