Who would not be charmed by Shakespeare's most poetic play? The fantasy of the playwright is captivating; the characters who seemingly have nothing in common: classic Greek heroes and young lovers, handicraftsmen from Shakespeare's home who rehearse "very doleful comedy," tiny fairies who come from folk religion and knight’s novels, become united in one whole.

The production also includes music from the films Gone With the Wind, Pulp Fiction (also the interview with Quentin Tarantino) and Eyes Wide Shut, Verdi’s opera Nabucco and Prokofjev’s ballet Romeo and Juliet.

The premiere on 18 March 2005 in the Grand Building of Vanemuine.
